Kids Krav Maga Bristol, martial arts for children Ages 9 to 15

Fridays @6pm UNIT5, Kingswood Estate, Britannia Road, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 8DB

The Little Titans is the first Krav Maga school for children in Bristol, an offshoot of our Parent club the Bristol Titans.

We first began teaching children in 2013 as we wanted our own kids to have somewhere they could go to learn a realistic and modern self defence system.

Krav Maga is a self-defense system that was developed in Israel and has become increasingly popular worldwide. It is known for its practicality and efficiency in real-life situations, making it a valuable skill for people of all ages. In particular, children can benefit greatly from training in Krav Maga as it provides them with essential tools to protect themselves and build confidence in their ability to handle dangerous situations.

Unfortunately, the world can be a dangerous place, and children are not immune to the dangers that exist. By learning Krav Maga, children are equipped with the skills and knowledge to protect themselves if they ever find themselves in a threatening situation. They learn how to identify and avoid danger, how to react quickly and effectively, and how to defend themselves using practical techniques. This can give children a greater sense of safety and security, and parents can have peace of mind knowing that their children have the ability to defend themselves.

Krav Maga training can also help children build confidence and self-esteem. Children who feel more confident in their ability to handle themselves in difficult situations are more likely to feel confident in other aspects of their lives, such as school or social situations. Krav Maga classes provide a supportive and encouraging environment where children can learn and practice skills without fear of failure or judgment. Over time, as children improve their technique and gain a greater understanding of how to handle different situations, their confidence will grow.

Krav Maga requires the use of various physical skills such as punching, kicking, and grappling, which can help children improve their strength, speed, and agility. Moreover, these movements require coordination and control, which can help children improve their balance and fine motor skills. As a result, children who train in Krav Maga may also see improvements in other physical activities and sports.

Krav Maga can help children develop discipline and focus. Learning Krav Maga requires a lot of practice and repetition, which can help children develop discipline and patience. Additionally, Krav Maga classes often include mental training, such as meditation or visualization, which can help children learn how to stay focused and calm in stressful situations.

In conclusion, Krav Maga is a valuable skill for children to learn. It provides them with essential tools for self-defense, builds confidence and self-esteem, improves physical fitness and coordination, and helps develop discipline and focus. If you are considering enrolling your child in a self-defense program, Krav Maga is a great option to consider. It is important to note that Krav Maga training should always be done in a safe and supervised environment, with qualified instructors who have experience teaching children.

Kids classes feature:

  • Focus pad training – stand up striking, how to use punches, kicks, knees and elbows. How to block and how to move.
  • Thai Pad training – how to use the clinch as a defensive and attacking tool, the thai pads are also great for developing power
  • Using our MMA background we train using the most modern practices and methodology to develop power, speed, endurance and explosiveness
  • Mobility work – to develop range of movement
  • Our groundfighting system in Krav Maga is designed for the street, so the student learns how to defend against strikes on the ground

Please arrive to the class ten minutes early so that our instructors are able to introduce themselves to you and your child.
