I started training in martial arts in 1985 and have trained and competed in many different combat sports and martial arts through the years such as Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Filipino boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, Krav Maga and Korean Kickboxing.

I really started taking martial arts seriously in 01/02, competing in MMA multiple times alongside my training. I began to supplement my martial arts and MMA training with studying sports science, criminology and power and strength conditioning which could help supplement my overall knowledge.

My aim was to become as strong a student and a coach of the martial arts as possible. I also qualified as a professional VIP Close Protection Operative and worked as a doorman so that I could get first hand experience outside of the ring of the true nature of violence on the streets.

In 2008 I registered as a coach in Shaolin Kung Fu with the British Chinese Council of Martial Arts.  In 2010 after intensive training in Krav Maga I became one of the British Krav Maga Associations Official schools and opened the Bristol Titans Krav Maga Academy.
