Complete Krav Maga: The Ultimate Guide to Over 250 Self-Defense and Combative Techniques
This book is great, I have chatted to the Darren Levine, his Krav Maga is first class and he’s a very humble and genuine guy. The book is clear, consise and is easy to follow and a very helpful reference tool for someone training in Krav Maga. It won’t replace lessons of course, you’ll still need to train but it will help with terminology and will definitely help you in training.
RDX MMA Gloves
MMA gloves are really handy for training. When we grapple its good to have some gloves on to provide some protection for the hands and also during standing grappling/wrestling or during certain drills. Its personal preference and mine might be down to my age as when I first started training in MMA in 2001 this was the type of glove I used and since I have always preferred the thumbless type. RDX are reasonably priced and the leather (not sure if its real or fake) holds up well. Apparently its made from Maya which I’m assuming is some sort of cow, I’m not going to google it, maybe its a plant. I don’t know. But I’ve had a pair of these for a couple of years and they have held up really well compared to mma gloves triple the price so I’m happy to recommed them.
Super Greens Powder
This stuff is great, its a mix of 17 different vegetables and grass type stuff, its one serving a day so a tub lasts you two months, its vegan, made in the UK and helps make sure you meet your nutritional needs for the day. Can you get all of this from buying veg up the grocers? Yes! But although I like to eat my veg and I am happy to batch cook so I have veg ready to add to every meal its very hard to get this much variety in each day. This for me is a no brainer. Tastes nice enough and looks horrific so you won’t ever be asked to share lol.
